3rd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Celebration

Like every year, Westborough Connects, along with cohosts Central MA Connections in Faith, Westborough Interfaith Association, and Westborough Public Schools, celebrated the 3rd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., as a community celebration online on zoom on Monday, January 18, 2021, from 11 am to 12:30 pm. This year's guest speaker was Jamele Adams, poet, activist, Dean of Students, Brandeis University. He delivered a powerfully immersive and interactive talk highlighting Dr. King's teaching and his own stories and poems about America's racial inequities. He invited his colleagues and students to share their poems about racial injustice. Zoom audience was captivated and interactively participated in the chat to express their feelings!
