On October 15, 2023, CMACIF and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints co-hosted an interfaith event with the Central MA connections in Faith. Sixty people gathered at 240 Hemenway Street in Marlborough, MA, to learn more about this faith tradition. In the chapel, the attendees were taught doctrines and the history of the Church as well as given the opportunity to ask questions. Church choir sang special arrangement of "Come, Come Ye Saints." After being divided into groups, tour guides stopped in different spaces to describe: Relief Society, Family History, Primary for children, Youth Programs for teens, Baptismal Font, etc. A delicious meal was served during which members of CMACIF facilitators led table conversations about each person's understanding of "salvation" and how they incorporate their faith tradition into their daily life. It was a magnificent day because we came together as people of faith - connected by feelings of love and mutual respect!
